Then she got an impressive jump in conversion rates from social to meetings. Measuring Sales Activities Ultimately if you want to manage your sales team with realistic expectations then social selling involves sales activities that need to be measured and analyzed for their effectiveness just like any other sales activity. Some social activities are easier to measure than others. For example, it is recommended to track the effectiveness of the sales messages you send through. Calvert says to track big opportunities instead of every time you read someone tweet.
